In December 2021 EEMS launched a boating safety campaign for the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry (VISR). Coining the name “Sail Safe BVI” EEMS set out to raise awareness territory-wide of boating safety procedures, tips and policies. The campaign ran for three (3) months targeting tourists and locals who utilize water transportation for both commercial and recreational purposes. The campaign was promoted via various digital and print platforms as well as media interviews with various key officials of the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry and HM Customs.
